Celebrate Earth Day digitally!! Use NO PAPER!!
Great for Distance Learning or print for in-class students.
The idea of this resource, came from my students. Everyday we try and use less and less paper in the classroom. At the beginning of the year, I introduced my students to Google Drive and Google Classroom. We try and do as many activities on there as possible. We really don’t have much need for paper any more. The best thing about Google Drive is that it saves the students work and becomes a digital portfolio showcasing their work.
This resource contains:
•9 open ended writing prompts to stir creative thinking, inquiry, and thought provoking amongst the students.
•1 acrostic poem
•1 unscramble word search
•1 drag 3'R pictures into correct box
•Critical thinking prompt
•Also 3 ideas for continuing the paperless idea using iPads.

Ways to use this resource?
- Pick a writing prompt for each day leading up to Earth Day.
- Pick and choose which slides you would like your students to work on throughout the week, or just on Earth Day itself.
- Assign the slides in Google Classroom, or share it on Google Drive.
