- A Google™ link for the digital copy for students to directly type onto. (10 pages) This is a Google Slides™ presentation. Simply assign to students and they will complete online. The file can then be printed/submitted electronically for an individualized assessment. Instructions are included for your students.
- Teacher information PDF file (8 pages). Includes all information for teachers and for students to access this activity.
In this online activity - students will listen/watch a story about a child who wants a pet iguana. Then they will use their inquiry/research skills to find out information about a pet they would like. Using this information they will then organize their thoughts before writing a persuasive letter to their parents. A writers checklist and a teacher rubric are also included.
