The Words Their Way™ program is a phenomenal differentiated spelling program available. I have worked with this program for some time but always felt like something was missing. I now have 3 resources available in my store that align perfectly with the Words their Way™ program, they are:
Worksheet package (2 pages for each sort, and a 2-page assessment for each topic) This can be printed or used digitally. Each section of word patterns have different activities, so students don’t get bored.
Weekly home sorts for practice at home all week (a list of words for the sort)
Again, this can be printed and sent home, or given digitally to parents to make them aware of the sort for the week.
Digital activities for each sort using Google Slides or Powerpoint (1-2 slides for each sort and 1-22 slides as an assessment for each topic) This can be shared via email, Google Classroom, Seesaw, or any LMS (Learning Management System) you may have. (Seesaw is not available for the blue - Derivational Relations)
These Words Our Way resources have been aligned with the WTW program and supplement it, but are NOT a replacement. The sorts are NOT exactly the same. I have used the main idea of each sort with a different assortment of words. This also allows students to have a wide array of words from which to master and scaffold upon
